Guidelines for Submission

Poetry & Writings:

Impetus wants poetry that stands outside. Poetry that evokes and lingers after the words. Gutsy, innovative, provocative and real. In your face & blatant.
No rhyme
No religious
No isms
No oatmeal
No limits, but prefer shorter, concise pieces.

Email submissions are accepted:

Send Plain Text submissions in the body of an email to Impetus@aol.com

Include your name, snail mail address, return email, and a link to your homepage (if you have one).

Snail mail submissions must have name & address ON EACH POEM and include a s.a.s.e. (self-addressed stamped envelope) for reply/return.

Sample copy is $5.00 within the US/ Outside US, add your rate for standard magazine postage.
